4Studio & E4 are exploring rebooting the cultural phenomenon GamesMaster and are seeking a Brand Partner to help make the idea a reality.
If confirmed, GamesMaster would be a social first show, followed by an E4 TX and All 4 box set. The sponsorship opportunity with E4 combines social, digital and linear TV.
The Format
If the show gets the go-ahead, five bold celebrities will embark on a gaming odyssey but only one can go on to become the GamesMaster champion and take home the Golden Joystick.
They’ll undergo challenges, races and fights in virtual battle across all genres of gaming under the watchful eye of the all-knowing GamesMaster.
Each week at least one celeb will be eliminated…Over the three episodes, five will become one and the winner will be crowned. They’ll play each other at everything from iconic classics to brand new releases. We’ll also be serving tonnes of extra gaming-themed content to our audiences to keep them coming back for more.
The Role of The Brand
The brand partner will receive standard linear ident accreditation on all E4 and All4 episodes.
In additional to this we will try to weave the brand into the 20 social assets, which will be gathered during the filming of the main show and will feature our GamesMaster talent. Suggested Branding on E4 Social content:
- Potential for product placements within the content
- Brand x GamesMaster title card at the start of the video (YouTube)
- Brand x GamesMaster end card (All)
- Brand lozenge at the start of the video (Facebook & Instagram)
- Brand tag” on Facebook and Instagram
The social segments could include: The Contender, Meet The Gamer, Gaming Odessey, GamesMaster trailers, Speed Runs, Extended Play-throughs, New release previews, Tips from the GamesMaster, Gaming news.
